Jesse Robie

Jesse Robie joined the Anthropology Department at University of California, San Diego in 2020. Jesse received a B.A. degree in Anthropology from the University of Vermont in 2005, his sub-discipline being Biological Anthropology with an emphasis in the human skeleton. In 2007, he moved to San Diego and has worked for UC San Diego’s Center for Academic Research and Training in Anthropogeny since 2011. His academic focus is primarily on the origin of the human phenomenon through deep time to the present. Outside of his work and scholastic pursuits at the University of California, San Diego, Jesse can be found running the local trails and pretends to be a cowboy on weekends with his horse, Cheyanne.
